Impressed by the customer service
Bridie was really efficient and helpful - quick, polite responses. Love Space NK, but also impressed by their customer service.

Space NK is the only place I buy skin…
Space NK is the only place I buy skin care from and overwhelmingly the customer experience has been a little up and down for me no company is perfect and that’s fine but I do believe service is everything So more recently I felt I had to shout about the experience I have had in the last month which by the way has been incredible!

Bridie specifically has been warm, helpful and an utter joy to deal with!!!

I love it when a luxury company has an even more luxury customer service team!!

Bridie should get a pay rise ???

Disappointing customer service
For my birthday I could choose a nice gift, so when I got the email with the code I ordered directly some items and as gift the “ IPL DARK SPOT SERUM”. I was super excited to try it but when it arrived it was not in the package. Instead there was a sample size of a Paula’s choice pore cleanser.
I emailed the customer service and they wrote back “ Unfortunately the birthday gift IPL DARK SPOT SERUM was not available and the warehouse replaced this with the Paula's choice pore cleanser 30ML”. Of course a product can always be “sold out” (even if I order def on the same day when I got the email). But I don’t understand why they could not even sent an email and ask me what kind of replacement I wanted. I find this really bad customer service.
I’m a Deluxe member for a few years now and always was very happy with the customer service but this is so disappointing.

I don't normally post reviews but I visited the Winchester store recently and had such a good shopping experience I wanted to let others know! I was served by Marina who could not have been more helpful or knowledgeable. I wasn't sure exactly what type of foundation I wanted but Marina took her time showing me all the options and testing shades. The store was very busy but all the staff were very kind, attentive and there was no hard sell and no pressure to speed up looking! Thanks Marina, will be back next month!!!

Sold an opened product
I always do my shopping online but yesterday I decided to pop by quickly to one of their stores in Belfast before my appointment. It was a quick short visit. I told the SA what I wanted, she grabbed it and after a quick glance around the shop, paid for it and left. It was at night when I got home I realised that one side of the item has 3 layers of protective seal and even so the seals were already broken! No way am I going to keep an item with a broken seal, especially when it costs GBP60. So this morning I reached out to customer service and was emailing to and fro with Taravat and he is NOT helpful at all. I sent him pictures as proof. He then reply and kept insisting that "as long as it is unopened and the item inside is not used then you are more than welcome to a return for a refund". Well the whole point I initiated the contact is because I want to return the item because it IS opened. It is definitely NOT a "manufacturing error" - THREE overlapping protective seals and broken seals too! So what then? Bring it back to the store and have them tell me it is opened so I can't get a refund? I want to return for a refund because I have lost faith in SpaceNK, and rather get the item directly from the brands webpage. Disappointing customer service.

Very disappointed.
As the only UK stockist of JVN products I recently ordered from Space NK online. The website says orders over £20 qualify for free delivery and I qualified for two free gifts which I could choose from a selection on offer. They charged me £10 delivery and only agreed to refund it after I refused to accept their explanation of not being allowed to checkout as a guest unless I paid via apple pay. The ‘free gifts’ were samples, not free gifts. I cannot recommend this company.

Update. There is nothing to be reviewed. Fix your website that lists a guest checkout option that is not available. And do not charge for delivery when orders meet the minimum threshold you have set. I complied with your policy.

False claim
This review appertains to the design of the SpaceNK website. Although the website offers the option to buy items and checkout as a guest, in practice this is impossible to do without entering a password and creating an account.

This is totally disingenuous, if the design forces creation of an account then the site should not offer the checkout as guest option.

I raised this with customer support and was told it is how it is, that's the website design. Shoddy design !

Horrid experience that could so easily…
Horrid experience that could so easily have been put right by their customer service department - who failed.

Minor irritation yet it has cost Space NK a customer and instead I will return to purchasing goods from Selfridges.

Placed order and paid for next day delivery. Day of delivery find out Royal Mail (why use them!) will not delivery for several days.

Contact customer services requesting the refund of my postage - To be told only a partial refund (and we are talking pennies) would be forthcoming.

For that reason only I will never shop here again and would suggest others think before ordering, more to do with their respect for the customer.
It could have been oh so different - had they offered to refund the postage and chucked a few points on my account I would have left a happy bunny and returned time and again.

To sum up - shop elsewhere with an outlet that values customers and when Space NK fail step up and make amends.

Disappointing online experience
Update: The item did arrive two weeks after placing the order. The free samples you are allowed to order didn’t show up with it though but happy to have the hairdryer as it is really good.

I have bought from Space NK stores for a number of years but I don’t order online very often. I placed an order on 26 June and decided to follow up on 7 July as it was still showing as awaiting dispatch. Dealing with their Live Chat service it was quite difficult to find out what was happening and no response when I asked when the order might be sent out. Having followed up with them to get a date for delivery I finally got notification that it had been sent out today. Let’s hope it arrives but pretty disappointing experience and difficult to get any clear responses from them.

Recent experience in Henley-On-Thames…
I recently visited the Henley-On-Thames store as I was looking for ideas on my next vitamin C purchase as I get my skin ready for my wedding in September. Sophie, from your team, assisted me and I honestly can’t stop thinking about the great customer service I received today. Sophie was super knowledgeable about the products, patient, helpful and keen to help me find the right products for my skin. I walked away from the store with some samples (I didn’t feel pressured to buy something I wasn’t sure of) and the motivation to come back and purchase some items once I’d given them a try. Not only did I walk away feeling really happy, but I felt like I truly wanted to come back and spend my money at Space NK.
I don’t usually share my feedback like this, but I felt so compelled to do so as I was really impressed and thought you should be aware.

Excellent service
I am continuously impressed by the quality of service provided by SpaceNK. Recently I realised that I didn't receive my Ndulge birthday gift. I contacted the live chat and the entire issue was resolved in under 10 minutes. It was about as fuss-free as you can get.

Dishonest email marketing
I received a targeted email promotion to receive a free summer gift if I spent £60, this enticed me to buy a birthday gift for my partner and despite the summer gift showing in my order and confirmation email it didn’t arrive with my order. I waited a few days as you often get the gift separately-I.e John lewis, liberty and marks spencer, but nothing came. I contacted customer services who answered:

Not all customers are eligible and if you have redeemed a beauty discovery gift in the past, you will not be eligible for this one. (Really?!)

If the gift has not appeared in your parcel upon delivery, the gift has sold out. (Thanks for informing me!)

This is a terrible way to treat customers, enticing orders with a free gift email and then not sending the gift or even bothering to contact me to say they had run out of the gift. I could have then cancelled the order. I am apparently an ‘N Dulge’ loyalty member but cannot believe the way this has been handled. I would advise anyone not to make an order when Space nk are offering a gift as they are happy to take your order and not fulfill it or even contact you to let you know. I am massively disappointed in the customer service and they way this has been handled. It’s incredibly dishonest.

I have asked for a refund or the gift and was offered ‘as a gesture of goodwill’ one item of a list of 4, which included the generous offer of : Natura Bissé - Diamond Eye Extract (3ml)
Completely disproportionate to the summer gift bag. I am sticking to my guns and will return the item. Space NK should not be running dishonest email campaigns and I won’t stand for it.
